Alfonso D. Grau (born Diego Alfonso Rodriguez on August 10, 1992, in Caracas, Venezuela) is a writer, creative producer, and worldbuilder focused on immersive storytelling across literature and visual media.
After relocating to the United States in 2008, Grau earned a degree in Film and Television Production from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015. His career includes work with companies such as NBCUniversal, Warner Bros. on Night of the Animated Dead, 3Pas Studios, and Encantos Media, where he contributed to the award-winning preschool series Canticos. Professional experiences in Brussels and Berlin further shaped his creative and cross-cultural perspective.
Grau made his literary debut in 2007 with Las Aventuras de Doña Despiste, a children’s book later featured in academic collections across Latin America. In 2024, he released the English adaptation, The Silly Chronicles of Mrs. Flibbertigibbet, on Amazon Kindle.
His current project, Chaos’s Key, is an epic fantasy saga inspired by mythology, mysticism, and speculative worldbuilding. He is currently developing future installments in the series while continuing to expand original creative projects in storytelling and visual media.
